Info on Growing Eggplants

I planted the seedlings (store bought) in 10-gal. containers because I don't have enough space in the garden. If your seedlings are in the greenhouse or protected area, they need to be harden off before transplanting them in the ground or containers to minimize shock.

I don't know where Brighton is;[ US or UK?] or how long your growing season. It takes 60-95 days before you can harvest the fruits.

Position them north to south, so that the plants gets the sun when it travels from east to west. Feed with about 1 teaspoon of complete fertilizer(5-10-10)at time of planting and again when you see blossoms or when fruits starts to show. Keep the soil moist.
