yes- first time growing zucchinis. so my plants are HUGE! healthy. had tons of flowers and lots of fruits. then i noticed the zucchinis were starting to turn yellow from the blossom end and then brown and smushy had to cut them off. not all of the fruit and not even all on the same plant. on one plant i have a beautiful dark green zucchini about 5 inches long and still had to cut smaller ones that had rotted from the same plant. any ideas? my neighbor thought to much water. ?????

The ones that are rotting are not getting properly pollinated. Hand pollinate, and remove the ones that are rotting. This will happen and the more plants/flowers you have...The more it will happen, bee's may pollinate the flower, to some extent, but not enough to keep the zuke from aborting. This is true for ANY monoecius plant (having both female and male flowers on the same plant) [thumb]
