I started some seedinglings off two months ago, I left town for a while and when I got back my parents and planted them but not labled them. Most everything is blooming and I now most everything by now but one plant. I thnk it is a hot pepper, it has yellow flowers, long stem, and the fruit is round and has spikes, it smells very much like a strong pepper. I think it may be a habenoro. Am I right?
I haven't grown habenaro's, I do grow Jalapeno's, Cayenne's, and (green, yellow, orange, and purple I tried this year???) I always thought those pepper plants had a white flower, again, I am nooooooo expert???
Someone else may come thru with some suggestions for you, hang on! Gardener's come thru at all times of day and night and weekly here!

Here is a picture of a red savina habanero. Most habaneros have a similar shape, but some are longer and thinner. Also, they come in yellow, orange, chocolate and white colored forms, but are green when immature.
I grow Caribbean Red habanero as well as jalapeno, serrano, cayenne, ancho, anaheim, and giant thai hot peppers.
I use the habaneros to make caribbean jerk for grilling pork chops. It's awesome if you can stand the heat.

This is good on chicken or beef, but for some reason is just awesome on pork. Bil Penzey of Penzey's Spices calls it one of the world's great dishes. I found the recipe online and modified it a bit by increasing the allspice and adding ginger. Next time I make it I'm going to try adding the the flesh of a whole mango before pureeing.
1/2 c. HEAPING allspice berries 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 6-8 garlic cloves 1 2-inch piece of fresh ginger 4-6 habaneros (I use 6 seeded and pithed RUBBER GLOVES) 1 tbsp. ground thyme or 2 tbsp. leaves 2 bunches scallions 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 mango (optional)
Blend in a food processor till smooth. Pierce meat. Marinade in refrigerator for 2 days. Last time I used one recipe for 8 butterflied pork chops in 2 layers in a 9 by 13 inch baking pan.
