I have a jade plant that after reading info on this site I was afraid to water to much !

I think maybe I'm not watering enough ! somebody help ! I love this plant and don't want to lose it!

The plant looks good, but occassionally I get some leaves that srival up and eventually fall off. Is that from not enough water ???

Thanks for your help [Embarrassed] )

Jade is a succulent, meaning its like a cactus. You should let the soil dry out pretty well before watering it again. After the hiatus in watering, make sure to water the soil completely.

I do the same sort of thing with my snake plant. I know it seems like torture for the little guy, but thats what you need to do, otherwise you risk mold and root rot.

Lauri,

If it is just some older leaves on the lower portions of the stems that occasionally fall off, then that is normal and not a cause for concern.
