I recently went on a vacation and had a neighbor look after my bamboo. When I came back, I was rather dismayed to find that she didn't take very good car of them, and my bamboo was turning yellow and needed water. I gave them water, but they weren't getting any better, so I called a gardening store and they told me to cut off the bottom of the plant so new roots could grow in. I did, but on one of them I had to cut off the entire bamboo stalk and was left with only the leaves. What will happen to these leaves? Will they stay the way they are now, or will something else happen?
