We're looking for a hardy low growing perennial border for the length of our lot line. It gets sun for a majority of the day. 6hrs.+ We are looking for lots of color all summer.

How low do you want this border to be?

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Wow, 4 inches! Miniature plants come to mind. Here's two sites that should be fun to look at.
