Can someone help? I have 9 potted snake plants which are in an covered outdoor area - some are doing well an have new growth but others have leaves which are mushy and turning yellow. They have not been watered during the winter, but checked weekly to check that the soil is damp.I can only think that because we have had such a wet winter the rot is becaused by this. I have added river sand to the potting soil as initially the plant seemed to have wet roots and they had come from an area near the sea and sandy soil. What an I doing wrong?

Welcome to the site! Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, as I have always kept mine inside in pots but I plan on putting them in a rock garden this fall. I wonder how mine will do during the winter? Good luck, I'm sure someone will be along to help you soon.
