I found it in a clump with a few other trillium that had 9 and 6 leaves. The 6 leaved one flowers, the 9 and 12 has not. They are the red blooming type.
I had never seen this before but I guess they are not that uncommon.
Anyone else ever seen this?
I wonder if the double flowering ones are natural or have they been hybridized?
