I've noticed a couple leaves on my Pothos have splits in the center of them. What causes that? It sits in the middle of a table alone. [dunno]

Like people, plants are not perfect. They have blemishes, spots, cracks, bumps, and splits. It may be genetic or it may be environmental, but if it is just happening with a few leaves, it is not a cause for concern.
