I planted two trumpet flowers recently and some little rascals are eating them. SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOO, I sprayed the demons with house and garden spray, but to no avail. What's next?

Sorry 4 the lack of info. I provided. I really didn't see any pests to speak of. Must be doing their business at nite. I did see however, after closer inspection, tiny yellowish bumbs, if u will, on the backs of the leaves. Any suggestions?
