I was just hoping someone could reccomend some plants for this time of year. I have a bunch of mums but they get boring.
We have been doing a lot of inside renovating so the outside has been completely neglected and looks awful. I just need to spice it up a bit.

Thanks
Heidi

Bill,
Those are my favorite!!
I love all the asters,
That's my birth months' flower,
I have just about everyone here I could
find or keep in the wild.
The only one I know by name are the wild
one called "Asteroids" They are tall, white, and
so pretty this time of year.
I have the other white ones that grow wild that are a bit shorter (almost half) and have a very lady like quality about them.
I have the wild deep purple ones, light purple and the cultivared white and dark pink ones.
They aren't as hardy as the others. But still just as beautiful.
The dark ones are very prolific here.
But if it weren't for those and the golden rod, there's not much color. I love them.

Kale comes in a wide range of foliage textures as well as colors... The colors tend to become even more vibrant as the temperatures drop.
