I have a ninebark(physocarpus opulifolius monlo) that is sending up green branches along with its purple ones. Should I just cut them off or what? Also, I am looking for a hydrangea for zone 4, I want it white to a very pale pink. Any ideas? [wayey]

tamara, [wayey]
I saw your post, but I am not firmiliar with trees.
The only thing I know I've heard and read is that you don't want to plant a tree too close to your house as it's roots tend to go into the foundations because of either the size or type of tree. Now some are way worse than others, ex; I guess are like willows, there roots search for water...
But see if there's anything on the GARDEN SEARCH on hydrageia's (sp) Bill might have something there on types....

Good Morning Tamara [muggs]
Just from observation......I have seen many, many homes with Hydrangea planted up next to the walls.... at least within a couple feet.
