I planted Hosta using a mixture of cow manure and top soil and now they are turning yellow.... was the manure to much for them??

How long ago did you plant them? Was the manure well composted? Hot manure will quickly burn your plants, but the Hostas could just be going through transplant shock...

Hi Bill
The plants were placed in the ground about 3 weeks ago. The Hostas appear to be greener with new shoots coming up. I'm hoping it was transplant shock. Thank you for your response.
