Every spring the wasps are flying around my house too. I'm a little more tolerant with them than i used to be (they are beneficial insects).
I just mix up a couple gallons of insecticide and spray everywhere- under the eaves, around the foundation,every nook and crany i can find. That usually clears out most of them, including spiders, and scorpians.
Or... go buy a can of wasp spray.Even paint thinner in a spray bottle will knock 'em dead on contact(just got to be careful because it's flamable) Gardendreamer03@aol.com
