I have a LARGE (5 ft. across) phil. in a container outside. The bottom leaves are getting brown spots and I've noticed some black ant-like bugs in the soil and on the leaves. Also, the other day I saw two shiny black half moons on a stem which I poked and they were empty(???)like the shell of a dead bug. I think I'm in the twilight zone. Does anyone have any suggestions? I didn't even know what kind of plant this was till a few days ago which is to say I'm a novice. s_segdwick@hotmail.com
