i have some bulbs that were bought and not planted...i want to plant them this year, is there anything that i need to do, like stick them in some water for a bit, or can i just plant them?

I would suggest keeping them dry, in a cool place and planting them in the fall. I have had great success doing this.

My first question, would they be summer bulbs or spring bulbs? I would agree if they are spring bulbs to plant in the fall but if they are summer ones~You've got time to plant them now, they'll have time to grow roots. But are they still viable, have they got shrivel marks on them or dried up?? How were they stored until you just came acrossed them??? Green sprig's coming up from the tops?? What kind are they??
