Hello- I have a rubber plant that has some of its roots exposed. Is this normal, or do I need to re-pot it? It seems healthy but I don't want to be squashing the poor thing in a pot thats too small! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Jenny

Hi Jenny. When was the last time you repotted your Rubber plant? The soil does settle and roots become exposed over time. A Rubber tree should be repotted every 2 years until it is too large to handle. If you do not need to repot yet, then just top dress with an inch or two of new potting soil.

Good luck
