While surfing around the net I came across a picture gallery of a garden that is truly gorgeous. Thought maybe you all would enjoy a look see and the chance to steal some ideas. Wish mine looked like this. She said she will be revising the photo gallery next week to include plant names.

Here is some info regarding this spectacular garden. Notice what this gardener does for a living!! Hey Catlover, did you see the pretty kitty at the bottom of the 12th photo? ---------------------------------------------
"I'm a decorative artist who is also an obsessive/compulsive gardener. I primarily grow perennials and have many border and island beds throughout our city property. WE are challenged with having a very rocky lot and we can't put in a flower bed without first digging out the boulders (yes I mean boulders, NH is known as the granite state) We've used most of these rocks to build raised beds and terraced our hill to create a large perennial bed. We also put in an ornamental pond a couple of years ago and it is a lovely addition to the gardens.

Vikki I spotted the kitty really quick....they are like visual magnets for me! Oh he? is beautiful...the markings are so defined!!!!
Sure wish I had those rocks....mine is granite but you literally need a jack hammer to dig. And that is no joke! Saw some guys 2 days ago using a jack hammer and it almost looked like it had a shovel type thing on the end. Sorry I didn't go look better! Deliver some Soil Science Journals to a soil conservation place yesterday so I will go back there when I have time and ask them some ?'s. Keep us updated when she puts tags on those plants!!!!

Know what you mean about the rocks. I'd love to have 2 or 3 like she has. We have no rocks in our soil here, but I'm not complaining...I can always bring in what I want...better than having to dig them out. I was back at garden web.com today and found the plant plan for her driveway border. You can see it here - once you get to the site scroll down.

Weezie, "The Garden Helper" must not allow you to copy a .com address. It puts **** where the .com should be. If you take the address and type in garden web.com but don't leave a space between garden and web it should work. If you still have trouble let me know. I know just enough about computers to be dangerous. Is the URL the www address?

Weezie, What am I saying...dot com addresses are all over this site with no problem. Duh. If you type the words garden web.com altogether with no spaces it will come up as *******. Maybe Bill can help.

I allow links to .coms if the site serves a purpose...... but I don't allow links to garden web or any of spikeys other enterprises, so if you want to send someone there you will have to post it the way you did this time. Sorry!
