I could use some help. I have a couple of small hydrangeas on the north side of my house (they are planted too close together for when they get bigger but right now aren't crowding each other, I will move one when they grow)
My problem is that the leaves are getting dark brown almost black spots on them. We got a lot of rain this year (as everyone on the east coast did), but they didn't start doing this until the rains stopped. I don't know if I should be watering them since it could be due to lack of water. Or if I shouldn't be watering them because its mold that has finally grown from all the water we did get.

Far as I know, Hydrangeas need to be kept regularly moist. I recently planted two in my garden, and forthe first two months, I thought they were goingto die on me: brown leaves, black spots, etc... I kept each moist, and they grew new growth, and now all seems well!
Good luck!
