I have a lot of moss and wild fern growing in a shady part of my yard. I would like to to some sort of bed using the moss and the ferns. I do not know how to go about this. I am not sure what to plant with it and what to do. Any ideas?

Living in Gerogia you probly have a clay soil. I know that moss and ferns grow in a acidic soil and is not well drained so i would choose a plant that can handle being soaked in water and likes shade. You might try hosta's. Also ask a nursery man for some more ideas but that is all that i can think of right now. hope thatit helps. Plants: 3 | From: Tennessee | Registered: May 2003

I have a low spot that stays damp in my yard. Lily-of-the-valleys like it there. Also Hostas are huge.
