My husband has added a few new rose terraces to the hill in front of our Seattel WA area house - and it looks more like a castle rampart now than ever - (maybe we could play a role in Homeland Security...) The terraces look great when the roses (100 of 'em) are in bloom , but that leaves about 7 months of uninterrupted grey mass from the street view...
I am looking for ideas for a planting that will grow against - perhaps even cling to - these east facing walls, but not interfere with the roses ( the terraces are about 3 to 4 ft deep, and about 30-60 feet long...)
Any ideas?
