Can this stuff be rooted and kepted in large pots with an attached trellis? or dug up and transplanted to a pot with a trellis?

They can be dug up and placed in a pot. You may have to chop a piece of the root out. I think they run underground. Do this after they bloom. After you get it out, prune it back. Just make sure you get a "good" piece of the root. My Daughter also takes cuttings and has good luck doing that. I've never tried it that way. Good luck!!!!
