Hi,
I'd like to know what edible things would grow successfully where so far only common violets have grown. I dig them up but they always come back.

Try planting herbs.....also Nasturtium is very easy to grow from seed and edible. Happy gardening

I put basil and parsley in with the violets last year and they did great. As a matter of fact, the parsley is still growing and it has snowed on them several times and it has been below freezing for weeks.
