Will epimedium grow under a tree in blazing hot Texas? I know it's supposed to grow through zone 8 and we're 7b. Anyone have any experience, good, bad or indifferent?

I think it is worth a try....plant some in a shady area and see what happens. You can read more here.... http://www.thegardenhelper.com/epimedium.html

Good luck!
