I have a peace lily that at the tip of some of the leaves have yellow or brown. I'm sure it had to do with not watering it enough (I used to not take such great care), but I've recently repotted it, the plant seems real healthy aside for the color variations of some of the leaves. How do I fix the dead tips or yellowing leaves? They're some of the older leaves, all the newer ones are very healthy. Do I cut these damaged leaves, or is there a fix? Please help!!! Thanks!

Welcome to the garden helper Lily! There is a great group of knolegable folks her and I know you will find most of the to be friendly too! About your peace lily. What I personally do about the older faded/browning leaves it to trim them as close to the base of the plant as I can. Once the leaf starts to yellow, the odds are it will not green up again. (I never have had one recover and one of my peace lilies is 13 years old). If it is brown only on an age, I just trim it back to the edge of the brown part and leave it. eventually it will die the rest of the way, but until then, if it is green it will continue to feed the plant.
