Any suggestions for keeping a new kitten out of the plants...bonsai especially...?????

Cats are attracted to Catnip (Nepeta cataria) and Catmint (Nepeta faasenii). They are safe for cats, however, avoid excessive ingestion since it may cause vomiting or diarrhea. These are usually planted in the garden, but maybe you could try growing the Catnip indoor to keep your kitten from your Bonsai.

I found a good spray that keeps my cats away, I don't know if it is in Germany though. It is called Boundary, it stinks something awful but works great. I would spray in the morning before work and the evening after work, it takes about a week, but they will leave it alone eventually, and you can stop spraying it.
