Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a jade plant. Am am pretty sure that I am not over watering it - but I have noticed that some of the leaves at the bottom of the plant are turning yellow and soft. i also notice brown spots on the leafs that are turning. i keep my plant in my office. could this be the problem?

Sarita,
Jade plants like lots of direct sunlight, although they will survive in lower light. If your office has a window, then the jade should be on the windowsill. If your office has no window, then it should be as close to a fluorescent light as possible and the light should be on every day for at least 8 hours. If you do not have windows or fluorescent lights, then it will not survive in your office.
If a jade is in a sunny location, then it should be watered as soon as the top half of the soil feels dry. In lower light, you should wait for the soil to dry out almost completely before watering.

Thanks a lot for your help! I actually do have flourescent lights in my office, and they are on pretty much 24 hours. I water my plant about every 2 weeks. By then it is pretty much completely dried out. Once again, thanks for your help! Hope I am doing everything right!
