My office peace lily out grew its space so I decided to divide it. (I've done this in the past successfully.) Well, of the four main stalks, only one seems to have weathered the split well. I put the three small ones in one pot and the biggest one by itself. Now 2 of the small and the one big are droopy So... I checked the big one and the soil seemed way too wet (a prior problem with the old pot) so I repotted it with fresh potting soil that is better drained. It looks a litlle better but is there any thing else I should do to maybe help it along?? I left the two droopy small ones alone as there is one that looks great! Thanks in advance.

Peace lilies don't respond well to being divided. Many things can go wrong; shock to the roots, unsterilized cutting tools, improper potting mix, improper pot size, failure to adjust watering cycle, et.al. For that reason I don't recommend it.

Peace lilies will not outgrow their spaces as long as they are not up-potted, which is not a particularly good idea anyway. If you have a plant at the size that you like, just keep it in that pot and that will keep it from getting much larger and outgrowing its space.
