Hi Greg, Norfolks don't do well at any temperature below 50 degrees. A freeze or even a frost would be fatal! I wish that weren't the case, I'd love to have a couple of them in my yard... Norfolk Island Pine web page

Just had to tell you about my experience with this pine. These are great looking pines by the way. I used to have one for quite a few years. Didn't have much light in the condo where I used to live so it didn't have many branches. When we were struggling financially we used it for a Christmas tree. With its poor sparse branches hung little Xmas ornaments, tiny lights. A friend of mine came over and said it looked like a Charlie Brown tree. Thus it got its nickname Charlie. Catlover
