I haven't had any luck in getting plants to grow and thrive in my apt. My biggest window faces north. Any suggestions on plants for this low light window?
Thanks much! Greg

Greg,
I have three suggestions for you. 1 - peace lilly; 2- African violets; 3- cast iron plant. I have all three in my office which does not have ANY natural light and they are growing fine. good luck.

Pothos, Chinese evergreen, Dracaena 'Janet Craig' or 'Lisa', ZZ plant, corn plant, and peace lily are all good choices.

In low light, it is important not to repot or over water or fertilize.

My pothos i bought a few weeks ago seems to be doing well...The only thing is that the new leaves turn black before opening. I only water it once a week.
