Hi, Please help me with pruining this three stem four ft plant, with few leaves along stem, but with strong leaves at top. Stems are weak and laying on floor. Thanks Jay VKit1@aol.com

Hi Jay,

Your rubber plant is not getting enough light. That is why the stems are sagging and there are only leaves at the top.

As long as the roots are healthy you can prune the stems back as far as you want. I suggest a height of about 12 inches. New growth will emerge just below the point of the cut. I

f you can locate the plant in front of a sunny window, then the new stem growth will be thicker and stronger and the new leaves will be larger and more numerous.
