Is is possible to propagate african violets? and how do I do that?

I have had alot of luck with leaf cuttings from african violets. I just cut off a leaf and leave it in a small vase of water. Change the water frequently so the leaf does not rot and then roots should appear. Another way I have tried with success is to cut a leaf from the plant, dip it in a rooting hormone and then stick it in a pot of soil. A small plant usually appears. Good luck.
