Author Garden: Caramel Rice Krispie Bars plantqueen Garden Pro! Member # 8449 posted                       8 c. Rice Krispies 1/2 c. butter 2 pkgs. mini marshmallows 1 pkg. caramels 1/4 c. butter 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1st layer: Melt 1/2 cup butter and 1 1/2 packages mini marshmallows. Add 8 cups of Rice Krispies. Press 1/2 of this in a greased 9 x 13 pan. 2nd layer: Sprinkle 1/2 package of mini marshmallows over cereal mixture. 3rd layer: Melt 1/4 cup butter, sweetened condensed milk and caramels. Pour over marshmallow layer. 4th layer: Put 2nd half of Rice Krispie mixture over caramels. You may want to wet your hands to handle. * * * * All of us could take a lesson from the weather.
