I love cucumbers and have seen this recipe on
French's Recipes for Salad Dressing,
It sounded kinda good,
so I copied and pasted it here.
What do you think???
Sounds different I think...

Why Yes Weezie, I do! This is one that I can't wait to make every year as soon as I have fresh tomatoes, Ya don't have to use home grown mater's, but makes it extra supercalifragilistic [Big Grin]
French Style Dressing:
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
2 tbs. lemon juice(concentrate will work)
1 tbs. red wine vinegar
1/3 cup vegetable oil or olive oil
1 tbs. tomato paste
1 garlic clove,minced
salt and pepper
Take it all and blend for a bit in blender, or I suppose you could leave it chunky and shake!

Then Ya just have fun with it, like I add TWO cloves of garlic and have been known to substitute ketchup for the tomato paste [Wink] and as far as salt and pepper, your fave pepper, play with different herbs, etc.
ENJOY!! [wayey] [grin] PHIL

Phil,
That sounds pretty good!

When I worked in the restaurant biz,
they make the french out of Ketch~up,
For the longest time I said, EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW,
I'm not eatin' that!
But for some reason one day, it looked ok
and I tried it, and it was goooooooooood!!!
And the recipe they had is in the ball park of
yours (I think they left the garlic out, for the sake of the "AIR"/???)
But I will try some come summer!

Weezie

I am hooked on really aged vinegar and kosher salt on romaine lettuce!!! (Our vinegar is so strong, it'll give you a permenant just smelling it from 40 ft. away! [shocked] )
