1 Quart Cheap Beer (Add 1 can more for each additional pound)
2 Pounds Shrimp in shells
1 Tbls Dry Minced Garlic or 2 fresh toes smashed
1 Large or 2 small Bay leaf
8-10 Whole Cloves
6-8 Black Peppercorns
1 tsp Salt (Optional)
small sprinkle of Crushed Red Pepper (Optional)
1 tsp dried Oregano
1 tsp thyme

Bring beer to a boil, add frozen shrimp, boil for 5-7 minutes after the shrimp turn pink..This is for Medium to Large shrimp. Less time for small and more for Prawns.

Serve Hot or Cold with Cocktail sauce, or peel and use for a shrimp salad..
This Boil is also good for Crabs...Enjoy! [grin]
