Homemade Sausage
2 lbs ground pork 1 teaspoon sage 1 1/2 teaspoon slat 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon red pepper or 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Mix & blend everything together. Shape into 2" patties. Fry until crisp and brown on both sides.
Yields 16 to 18 patties
I think it is best to let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours to let the flavors really blend in but that's just me.
