It was a lazy, sunny day, so I played hookey and went down to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle.
I managed to get a few pictures to share, while I was there!

that was a definite winner. It reminds me of an incident with my pets when I was quite small.

We had a poodle and a parakeet. We let the parakeet out to play quite a bit.

One day pete had been quiet for quite a while so I went looking for it and lo and behold....

There he was sitting on the head of the poodle pepe. And Pepe knew he wasn't allowed to hurt pete so there he sat with the parakeet on his head.

It was so funny.

I have a Goffin's Cockatoo(and six other parrots), whose best buddy was the neighbors Rottweiler...strange pals indeed! The Rott died last year, but Coco actuall used to sit on his back and try to preen him. Funniest thing! [Big Grin]

Did you find that pet link? I think it's over in the banter hall. It's just so cute.

I love birds. And would love discussing yours. I don't have any right now. My disability wouldn't cover the care & feeding of a pet.

But if you ever need a bird sitter.....

But we will need to move this to banter hall don't want to do a no-no.
