Ahhhh Loz...I think they are all precious....but then again I don't have any and don't have to worry about their destruction. Hee hee! I have enough gopher problems....you can have those if you want.
Hey Bill...in the first pix there is a plant with red flowers...is that a type of begonia?...think that is the one my mom has! Before she sells the house I would like to get some starters off of it...How do I go about starting a new plant from it??? Catlover

Flying squirrels are the softest, sweetest, least offensive critters in all of my woods. They may be classed as a rodent, but they aren't a RODENT in my mind!!! I have 3 of these lil gliders that visit me outside my window every night, and that is a big highlight for me!

Oo-oooo, looks like I hit a nerve.....lol Sorry Bill they are cute kind of for being in the rodent family.....there are so many squirrels around here, because it is a heavily treed area.....Guess part of my squirrel indifference was caused from me going squirrel hunting several times with my hubby....No I didn't hunt, just went along to take part in one of his hobbies.......Oh, and when he hunted them he actually gave the meat to a poor family and they ate it.....he doesn't hunt to just kill like some do.

You didn't hit a nerve Loz, but if I had called it a sugar glider instead of a squirrel , would you have looked at in the same way? I've rescued many of them and held them in my hand over the years, and trust me.... they are nothing like the stereotypical "squirrel"!
