I inherited peonies from the previous owners....I'm just wondering if someone knows the type I have....they are a deep, deep, dark red...and the stem is a red color too....the leaves are green with almost a varigated red in them. Anyone have any idea what kind of peony it may be?? They grew so tall...they don't look right in the tiered top of the garden....I would like to remove them to the lower tier. Any ideas on how to transplant, and when????? Thanks to anyone that may know! I'll be checking back!

I see foxgloves and I instantly think of my Granny!!! She had a bunch of them growing and I have some seeds from her original babies!!! I can't pass one with out thinking of her.. (I have double purple columbines and poppies of her's too, and it's the same, can't pass 'em without thinking of her)
