I love those plants,
very sweet scent to it,
Bees love it!!
**word of caution, LOL [Big Grin] [Frown] Don't put it were people may be walking by it, or standing and talking over it!!)
I have one on my side of the split rail fence and when my former neighbor and I would stand and talk over the fence, it would drive her nuts [nutz] [shocked] because there were so many honey bees on it, and she didn't like bees
(she liked flowers but not bees) but, maybe I planted it there on purpose!!! [lala] [grin]
NO< actually I didn't, I liked her alot, but
bees are good, but not in traffic area's...

I've heard of them as the name Mountain Bluets too!

I keep them deadheaded early, then when they start to wane, I leave the last handleful on, and let them re~seed themselves, and then after the seed dries, I cut them back and get a second smaller bloom....I have the purple and white.

I also have two of it's cousin's.....
The yellow one, Macro something or other,
and the pink one..... can't remember their names.

NICE PLANTS< and hardly any work to them.

Cat ~

Are you fixin' to fry those half marbles? [dunno] Let us know how they turned out, K? [thumb] I've been wondering if they are thick enough to fry without cracking to pieces... would love to have some in some craft projects and have millions in my art closet.

No.... I am definitely not going to fry marbles....my kids would probably call the psych ward and have me carted off in a white jacket! [scaredy]

I was going to use these in a couple of my pots....I have a few cactii I would love to do up like Jillie and Hollywood did. I have to come out of my shell and add some "glamore"(haven't been there so don't know how to spell it.Ha Ha)!

"Just back away from the skunk"!!!! Wow I'm suprised you haven't seen a rattlesnake YET!!!!
Just wait...."when you LEAST expect it". Hmmm now I know where you live maybe I should get a rubber snake and place it by your door!" Ha Ha....Sneaky, sneaky!!!!J/K We had one under our car one time! [shocked]
