I need info such as How much water to add. Is it okay to add water on leaves or try to avoid it and just add on soil? Do you add fertilzer for blooms? If so what brand of fertilzer works well for this plant? I have mine impatiens planted in light shade.

New Guinea impatiens require frequent watering. As for fertilizing, any bloom-boosting fertilizer (such as MiracleGro) or time release fertilizers (Osmocote) will work. They are gorgeous when in full bloom. I used to have a porch with containers full of them....SIGH! [wayey]
