i was walking through lowe's last night after watering time, and picked up a broken piece of a gold fish plant off the floor. now, how do i root it???

Strip off the lower leaves and insert the stem cutting in a small pot with a soilless potting mix. Keep the soil damp.

Unfortunately, a single cutting will look a bit lonely all by itself in a pot. Perhaps another trip to Lowes is in order!

....make a fresh cut on the stem with a clean knife and dip the end in some rooting hormone before putting it in the potting soil. [Wink]
