Hi everyone, I have this plant in a pot in my house, and I'm just starting to learn about plants. It is getting brown along some of the edges, and on some leaves it has brown dead spots in the center of the leaf. What could be causing this? And what is the proper amount of light it should get, or other care? Thanks in advance for your help.

mine will get brown if i forget to water it. they are a very thirsty plant, and do best when slightly moist most of the time. i have mine under flourescent lights in the office, so it gets good bright light, but no sun.
