Hollyhock... Ok since I thought these were a bulb or tuber or some such thing, I didn't think I would need to look for seeds, but just saw them listed in a seed exchange so I thought I would ask what I am looking for.

Also, I have never really harvested seeds before except for Morning Glory last year and was wondering, can the dead flower heads of most flowers just be pulled and dried for viable seeds or do they need to actually fry on the plant for the seeds to form?

Thanks
Triss

We are all under the same stars... therefore we are never far apart.

Each flower appears to be just a little different so I think you have to look for the infomation depending on the flower. I'm sorry I've never had hollyhocks before so I don't know about that one.
