Has anyone had any luck growing hosta from seed? I bought some hosta seeds on eBay and put some in a hooded container and set it outside. We had a bunch of rain and wind, the cover went who knows where and it got lots of rain in the container. I am going to just wait and see with that, but I have some more seeds.

Is there any trick to growing them from seed? Or do they seed as easy as they grow themselves?

I grew one of my Hosta from seed. It was really just an experiment...just poked the seeds in the ground and forgot about them. They are very slow growers! It's been 7 years and it's just getting to be a nice size.
