My Christmas cactus is in full bloom....it hasn't bloomed in a couple of years and now all of the sudden it is covered! Is this normal? Have I done something wrong...I thought they were only suppose to bloom around Christmas (or Easter). [dunno]

HI vanessa its not unherd of they can bloom in the spring and through out the year.you must have stored it in a cool place with not a lot of light.cool temps 55 to 65 deg. and a lot of dark 13 to 15 hours a day for them will make them put on buds and will bloom when you move them out to more light and higher temps.hope this helps.your friend in gardening.mike57
