I PLANTED A JAPANESE WILLOW SHRUB 2 MONTHS AGO, IN THE PEAK OF HEALTH. FOLLOWED ALL PLANTING RECOMMENDATIONS. SINCE THEN, IT HAS GONE DOWNHILL, LEAVES TURNING BROWN AND FALLING OFF, BALD SPOTS ON THE BRANCHES. ANY SUGGESTIONS BEFORE I GIVE UP AND TAKE IT BACK TO THE NURSERY? I WONDERED IF NEARBY PLANTS WOULD AFFECT IT - IT'S BETWEEN A LARGE HOLLY BUSH AND A HOSTA - BOTH WELL ESTABLISHED AND HEALTHY.

Hi! I don't know anything about Japanese Willow Shrub! Just wanted to stop by here on my way in to the forum and welcome you! There's a forum topic here especially for plant problems such as yours, so you might want to post that same question there so more will see it.

Nice to meet you!

Cindy
