I have a snowball bush that has been in my yard for a few years (4 maybe) and it is looking rather messy. Can I cut it back? If so, when and how much? Thanks!

I believe you should cut it back after it blooms. You will of course lose the fruit that year, but it will be ok. I like to cut my bushed back by about a 1/3. Others may do more though, so you may want to wait for others to reply.
Hope this helps!
