Hi! I am new to this board.
I have planted 6 new H. Dropmore Lonicera Honeysuckles this past late spring. I live in a zone 2b area. 1997 saw us have a brown Christmas for the 1st time ever in this area. Since then, the snow groundcover has been awful! Hardly anything. (horrible winterkill last winter for roses here)
I would like to know how to winterize my new honeysuckles! The tag says that this variety is a Group A type thus flower on growth produced the previous year. Do I try to detangle em from the trellis and lay them on the ground and mulch??? They are growing up a 6 foot fence...........
Thanks so much!
I can hardly wait for spring....LOLOL
