Can I get a plastic tub and not poke drainage holes in it and fill it with dirt and keep the dirt soggy and plant them in there? can somebody give me some clues cuz I have NO idea what to do [Big Grin] [Big Grin] anybody ever successfully grown them from seeds?

The 1st ones comeing to mind are the yellow water iris(cause they are more common)I use to start my seeds in the old birdbath full of sand for the butterflys.I'm sure a few seeds had fell in their pot.I keept them just barely under water when they grew in my pond.My yellows we're in the pond, but we've drained and filled that one.My lotus will have its own& pond on deck I'm unsure at moment.I'd like to put the water lillys back in that, but my bassatt hound likes to play with him& he barks at them.
